Clapotis Fini!
My KO project of a clapotis is complete. I used a silk/merino from ebay seller LotusBlossom, and I'm very happy with it. Now if only I could wear it. Our Spring weather has disappeared and it's cold and rainy :-(.

To answer your question, I think the ultramerino 6 would make an awesome clapotis. It would still be pretty warm though.
I only bought one skein to try it out and I'm making socks. It's pricey, but I'll be using it again!
Thanks for the compliment. Did you know that Artyarns is available at www.discountyarnsale.com? You need to buy the bag, but it might be worth it if you love the yarn. I bought some Regal Silk at that site (had to wait a couple of weeks) at a significant discount.
